Census 2020

The Village of Frankfort is proud to partner with the U.S. Census Bureau in order to encourage participation in the 2020 Census. Establishing a complete count is important at the local level because it is used to determine legislative representation in Congress as well as the distribution of $675 Billion from the federal government. At the state level, population figures certified through the census process are used to distribute state income, use, and motor fuel taxes to the local government. Together, these revenues are approaching three million dollars per year to Frankfort.
